Kelo-cote is a revolutionary and patented product that maintains the positive benefits of silicone gel sheets while eliminating concerns and limitations associated with their use. Kelo-cote was developed by Advanced Bio-Technologies, Inc., and is an innovative topical silicone gel for the management of scars and the prevention of abnormal scars in the form of keloids and hypertrophic scars. The scar gel is recommended for scars resulting from surgery, burns, trauma, or other events that result in broken skin. Kelo-cote scar gel self-dries to a gas permeable, waterproof membrane that acts like an extra layer of skin. The product will help to flatten, soften, and smooth the scar while maintaining the elasticity and moisture balance of the adjacent skin. Kelo-cote scar gel has also been shown to reduce the itching and discoloration associated with scars. Kelo-cote scar gel tube comes in the following 3 sizes: 6g tube (suitable for treatment of scars 2 – 2.75 inch / 5 -7 cm, with coverage width of 0.5 inch / 1.25cm), 15g tube (suitable for treatment of scars 4.75 – 6.75 inch / 12 – 17 cm, with coverage width of 0.5 inch / 1.25 cm), and 60g tube (suitable for treatment of scars 19.5 – 27.5 inch, with coverage width of 0.5 inch / 1.25 cm or 4.75 x 6 inch / 12 x 15 cm). Kelo-cote is suitable for adults and children.

Don't Forget --- SPF Protection for Healing Scars
Scars are more sensitive than the normal skin and will be more easily affected by sunburns. The better a scar is cared for; the less visible it will be after the healing process is complete. So, be sure to cover up and wear sun block.
